The fishing industry of North Ossetia today is in a state of active development.
It is reported that at the moment in the region there is everything that is necessary to bring production to a qualitatively new level. We are talking about a mild and comfortable climate for fish and crystal-clear water in the rivers of the republic.
It is known that the other day about two and a half thousand fry of various species of fish were released into the ponds that belong to the assets of the Goryanka agricultural complex (Kirovsky district). It is expected that over the next few months an impressive number of white grass carp, carps and silver carp will appear on 60 hectares of cascade-type ponds that belong to Goryanka. It will not be superfluous to add that the fry in question were raised here, in the territories of the indicated SPK. For the first time, the heads of Goryanka purchased fish larvae about two years ago as an experiment. The experience was unusually successful, and now employees of the agricultural production cooperative grow fry on their own.
According to the Goryanka administration, such a format is incredibly profitable: one ton of fry costs buyers 180 thousand rubles, while larvae cost no more than 36 thousand rubles. As for other regions of North Ossetia, the local fish farmers also flood ponds with various fish. It is noted that the supply of fisheries occurs within the framework of the project for the development of the fish farming industry, which was initiated and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of North Ossetia.
