A unique object appeared in Kazan - the “Public Garden”, which is designed to attract both young residents of the capital of Tatarstan and their parents to entertaining agricultural work.

As part of the Public Garden project, over the next season, program participants will plant, grow, care for plants on the city garden plot and, of course, harvest. Employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation emphasize that absolutely any crops and in any quantities can be planted in the “public garden”.

There are no restrictions, the main thing is that mutual understanding, mutual assistance and mutual assistance reigned among the project participants. It is noted that in the countries of Europe such gardens in the city center have not surprised anyone for a long time. In Russia, this movement is only part of the routine of large cities. Everyone can become one of the “public gardeners”. As soon as a person becomes one of the project members, a separate site will be assigned to him.

As an incentive for their agricultural work, participants in the Public Garden program (both young and adults) will receive ice cream, as well as coffee, sweets, discount coupons for renting equipment for summer vacations. Also among the prizes can be noted invitations to various events that the Kazan administration intends to hold next summer in the city parks.

It is noteworthy that the Public Garden program has been operating in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan for the second year. But if in 2018 its area was 65 hectares, today the territory of the garden has expanded to 105 hectares.
