Rescuers managed to put out the fire in less than two hours.

In the village of Gavrilovka, Barvenkovsky district, in the south of the Kharkov region, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, the 21st, an emergency occurred. Wheat and sunflower were stored in warehouses.

It was not possible to save the grain. It flashes instantly, which is why difficulties arose in extinguishing a fire. 1795 tons of sunflower were stored in one warehouse, 1679 tons of wheat. The fire department received an alarm at 00:47. Then the fire has already covered 800 square meters of area.

The employees of the enterprise, volunteers of the fire brigade, were the first to extinguish the fire. They had their own water tank in stock. Rescuers from the city of Lozovaya and the village of Bliznyuki soon arrived at the call. Also arrived a fire train from Slavyansk.

When the rescue service arrived, two depots were already completely engulfed in fire. There was a risk of the transfer of fire to neighboring warehouses. Rescuers managed to stop the fire and save the neighboring storage facilities. The cause of the fire is not currently known.
