According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, from January to July this year, agricultural producers of the country sold 1.46 million. At the same time, the average sale price is 4085 UAH / ton, which is 7.6% lower than last year.
The largest volumes of barley sales in the first half of the year were recorded in the Odessa region - more than 182 thousand tons, which is 45.6% less than in the same period last year.
The average selling price in the region is 4178 UAH / ton. This is 93 UAH. more than the average for Ukraine. Barley sales fell the most in the Transcarpathian region - by 73% - to 209.5 tons. It was registered from the lowest prices - 3706 UAH / ton.
Most of all, the volume of sales of this culture was increased by agricultural producers of the Sumy Region - 2.7 times more than last year over the same period - up to 13.8 thousand tons.
It is in this region that the price of barley has increased the most - by almost 12% - up to 4706 UAH / ton. Today it is the highest price in Ukraine.
In addition, the sale of barley in the Kiev and Ivano-Frankivsk regions increased by more than 2.5 times - to 49.7 thousand tons and 37.9 thousand tons, respectively.
