This summer has become very productive for the Krasnodar farmers involved in the cultivation of fruit orchards and plantations.

It is known that the first harvests of this season are at least twice the volumes of fruits and berries harvested by the same date last year.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, today in the region is in the most active phase harvesting fruit and berry crops, which mainly consists of early varieties of apples, as well as peaches and all kinds of berries. In the current season alone, strawberries were harvested two and a half times more than a year earlier.

Going into details, we note that stone fruits and berries from the Kuban orchards amount to about three thousand tons. As for the volumes of berries collected, their figure is over eight hundred and thirteen tons.

The foremen of the berry harvest campaign are the farmers of the Abinsky district, as well as the agrarians of the Dinsky and Belorechensky districts. As for the forwarding for collecting stone fruits, here we must pay tribute, first of all, to the producers of the Timashevsky district, as well as to the Slavic farmers and Krasnodar gardeners.
