On the agricultural expanses of the Crimean peninsula, preparations are now starting for experimental crops.
We are talking about a trial cultivation of such a culture as guar in the experimental fields near the village of Ukromnoe (Simferopol district).
It should be noted that guar is a bean plant that grows actively in the fields of Pakistan and India. This is a heat-loving culture, which, with a certain care and favorable climatic conditions, demonstrates the wonders of productivity.
Such information was shared by Eden Seytumerov, the head of the department of water use in agriculture of the peninsula at the Simferopol Research Institute.

Seytumerov also noted that the guar will be planted in the fields near Ukromny next year. The experiment will be conducted in order to understand whether the guar, which serves as an excellent raw material for cattle feed or the basis for agricultural fertilizers, is capable of developing and bearing fruit on Crimean lands.
Note that guar develops best under the bright sun, infrequent rains and in well-drained soil. Guar is tolerant of drought persistently, and it is able to grow and bear fruit even in areas where a long absence of rain is a constant practice.
It is noteworthy that in the open spaces of the Krasnodar Territory, local farmers are conducting a similar experiment now.
