50 tons of peaches, more than 20 hectares of watermelon and 10-20 hectares of sweet potato - these are the company's intentions. The domestic market of Ukraine does not yet experience a great need for sweet potato. In 2018, the company sold 5 tons of sweet potato through a distribution network. But these are very small volumes. But export to European countries opens up more prospects for sweet potato.
The Danube Agrarian Company already has experience selling its products to foreign countries. Lentils, rapeseed, sunflowers, peas, organic grains have already seen European markets. Farmers presented their products at the Biofach organic exhibition, which was recently held in Germany. Of all the participants, eight were organic watermelons, but only two countries brought the yam to the exhibition - Ukraine and Spain, summed up Roman Dyazhuk.
