The first project in the Russian capital to equip multi-apartment residential complexes with a system of vertical greenhouse cultivation of various fruit and vegetable crops was launched in the Moscow district "Wings".
According to the organizers of the “greenhouse project”, both the residents of the quarter and their guests will be able to grow their mini-gardens at unique sites. The second such greenhouse was put into operation on the territory of the Skolkovo innovation center.
It is important to note that the development of the project on the introduction of vertical greenhouses in residential complexes was carried out by experienced employees of the company Panasonic-Russia and the development organization Leader-Invest.
It is reported that all work on watering crops planted in vertical greenhouses, as well as climate control, are carried out automatically, without the participation of people. Plants in the complexes grow in several "floors", which makes it possible to save space by growing, at the same time, the maximum number of bushes.
Growing vegetables and other crops, caring for vertical beds and harvesting can now be done without leaving the house, the developers emphasize. And sunlight in plants in greenhouse complexes is replaced by special LED bulbs with a specific spectrum.
