Farmers of the Sverdlovsk region got acquainted with statistics that clearly demonstrate the dynamics of the number of livestock of farm animals and birds.
The statistics were prepared by Sverdlovsk specialists of the territorial body of the Federal Service of the State Statistics Service (Sverdlovskstat), who analyzed changes in the number of livestock in March of this year.
As a result of studies, it turned out that in the region for the first spring month of 2019, the number of small and cattle on farms, personal and subsidiary farms decreased. The number of poultry individuals has also decreased.In particular, it became known that the number of goats and sheep in the Sverdlovsk region at the beginning of the spring of this year decreased by 4.5%, when compared with the regional population of these animals for the same period in 2018. Today in the region there are about fifty seven and a half thousand goats and sheep.
Reductions in the bird ranks have led to the fact that at the moment in the regional farms there are no more than 13.8 million units, which is 2.1% less than in early April 2018. The number of cattle in the Sverdlovsk region during the year decreased by almost one and a half percent and decreased to almost 115 thousand heads.The livestock growth can only be said in the case of Sverdlovsk pigs: the number of pigs in the region, when compared with the middle of spring 2018, increased by 3%. And today in the region there are about 357.5 thousand pigs.
