The emergency regime was officially established on the territory of three districts at once - Kumensky, Urzhumsky and Soviet - in the Kirov region.
This became known on July 2, 2019 - immediately after signing the corresponding order on behalf of Igor Vasiliev, who heads the regional administration of the Kirov region.
Based on the information shared by the press service of the regional state administration, the reason for the establishment of a state of emergency in the region is based on the mass extirpation of cereals in agricultural fields. This led to the death of winter fields in the region at the end of June this year.
According to experts, the total area of land in the territory of which the death of winter crops occurred is ten percent of the gross crop. Such information was shared by Alexei Kotlyachkov, who heads the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kirov Region.
Authorized experts are now calculating the extent of damage due to the death of winter fields. It is noted that the colossal losses in the Kirov fields were facilitated by a sharp and substantial cooling, which fell to local fields in June of this year.
