Medvedev is confident that such labeling will justifiably help consumers navigate the flow of goods and choose the right product. The Prime Minister emphasized that in recent years, Russian manufacturers have very “loved” beneficial vegetable fats, which not only reduce the cost of production, but also increase the shelf life of products. And they have a right to it. Just hide the information that the product was made on the basis of vegetable fat should not be. Because customers are far from always ready to include products with such ingredients in their diet.
According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation, the requirement to label their products containing vegetable fat also applies to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, including farmers, village milkmen, etc.
