On the territory of the Rostov region, the work on collecting grain crops is in full swing.

It is known that at present Don farmers have managed to collect over six million tons of grain from territories whose total area exceeds one and a half million hectares.

At the moment, Rostov farmers have completed more than half of the harvesting plan planned for this season. And here it should be noted the forwards of the campaign, who together were able to harvest from one hundred forty thousand hectares of agricultural land: the leading position today is held by the agrarians of the Salsky district.

“Silver” and “bronze” go to Zimovnikovsky and Zernograd districts - their indicators are one hundred twenty seven thousand and one hundred and four thousand, respectively. It is noteworthy that the yield in these municipalities is on average thirty-four centners per hectare.

As for the indicators of the Myasnikovsky district, in this case, the average yield exceeds forty-seven centners per hectare. Their colleagues from the Zernograd and Veselovsky districts are slightly inferior to the meat-pickers of the Butchers, where the average figure is forty-four and a half centners per hectare.

It will not be superfluous to note that agricultural objects of all regions of the Rostov Region are involved in the general harvest. Their common goal is to harvest from three million three hundred thousand hectares.
