The enterprising sisters from the Astrakhan region are not just plant lovers and adherents of good nutrition, but they are also distinguished by their creativity and desire for innovation.
More recently, the girls came up with the idea of creating an alternative to the usual salt for all of us, extracted from the depths of the sea or salt mines. As a result, in contrast to sodium chloride, vegetable salt from ... succulents entered the gastronomic arena.
It turned out that plants like succulents. Also known as “stone plants”, they can bring not only aesthetic pleasure in the process of contemplating these cultures, but also benefit during the preparation of various dishes. Soleros, also known as salicornia, has become a raw material for the vegetable salt of the Khazov sisters. This is an annual herbaceous plant that grows on highly saline soils on the sea coasts, shores of salt lakes, in beams and ravines. The color of the vegetable salt is green, and the salt from the salt soleros tastes almost the same as the table salt, only sodium chloride in it is half as much. Therefore, with its consumption, the risk of increased blood pressure and a negative effect on the kidneys and the excretory system as a whole is reduced.
Today, the Khazov sisters received financial assistance in the amount of two million rubles for the development and promotion of their project from the Innovation Assistance Fund.
