The herbal mixture, which is also called “haylage,” is already almost completely packed in a special way of preservation for long-term storage in the territories of agricultural facilities of the Beysky, Ordzhonikidzevsky, Altai and Shirinsky districts of the Republic of Khakassia.
According to agrarians, they specially sow roughage, which they give to the sheep, cows and other representatives of large and small cattle during the lean period.
After the drying procedure, the humidity in the feed remains at the level of fifty percent, which helps to preserve all the necessary trace elements and nutrients in the livestock diet.
It is noted that to date, fodder procurers by joint efforts have been able to pack at least three thousand tons of hay. As a result, the gross volume of harvested green mass exceeds two thousand three hundred thirty-nine tons.
In parallel with harvesting haylage, leaps and bounds are moving towards their finals. The pace of haymaking allowed the farmers of Khakassia to harvest over fifty thousand tons of hay.
Such data was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of the region. The ministry also noted that almost a third of the gross volume of fodder harvested was provided by agricultural workers of the Bogradsky district, which has long and firmly held leadership positions.
