Strict quarantine conditions were introduced recently in the territory of the Baleisky district of the Transbaikal Territory.

The thing is that in the local village of Unda, which is located near the settlement of Undinskoye, there were recorded cases of damage to cattle by a dangerous virus.

We are talking about an emphysematous carbuncle that struck local cows at the beginning of this week. This disease, which belongs to the category of infectious and very dangerous, is provoked by special types of microorganisms and in most cases leads to death of the affected individual.

Especially often as a result of the defeat by the emphysematous carbuncle, the young generation of cattle dies.

According to veterinary experts, it is not so easy to cure cattle from this insidious virus, and it is because of the complexity of the treatment process that increased mortality as a result of damage to the emphysematous carbuncle is recorded.

Based on the information shared by the press center of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Trans-Baikal Territory, today the owners of cattle in the regulated area.

Also, the cattle breeders of the surrounding areas should take what is happening with the utmost seriousness and, if suspicious symptoms are detected in the cows, immediately contact the Rosselkhoznadzor authorities.
