The farmers of the production company Prometheus completed the harvest of winter grains. This was said in a statement.
In 2019, according to Vitaliy Bogun, the chief agronomist of the Prometey production company, this year is pretty good in terms of yield.
This year, the company's farmers harvested high-quality grain. Barley yields amounted to 5.7 tons / ha., Wheat - 6.1 tons / ha., Rapeseed - about 3 tons / ha.
High yields were achieved because the weather was favorable. In addition, the farm applied its proven technology and introduced mineral fertilizers in a balanced manner, said the agronomist.
The comprehensive use of all business areas, namely: elevators, logistics, trade, foreign economic activity, domestic purchase and sale of mineral fertilizers, takes agricultural production to the highest level, said Rafael Goroyan, chairman of the board of Prometey.
This year, agrarians of the economy increased cultivated areas to 10 thousand. Successfully tested technology was tested on 2 thousand hectares of new land.
The Prometey company has been operating in the market of oilseeds and grain crops of Ukraine since 1994. The farm buys grain from producers in Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Kiev, Khmelnitsky, Zaporizhia and Cherkasy regions.
