Residents of the country can already grasp the intricacies of this profession, the initiators assured during the conference “Organic Agro-Production: Education and Science”. Training takes place at once in three universities of Ukraine - the Agricultural and Economic College and the Tavrian State Agrotechnological University, as well as in the Vinnitsa National Agrarian University.

“Our students do not just study the theory, but conduct their own research on organic processes,” representatives of universities assure. “They are focused on growing products without the use of pesticides and GMOs, manufacturing products and goods without using harmful technologies, without using synthesized preservatives, flavorings, stabilizers and thickeners.”

As for livestock, students of universities announced now are already finding ways to avoid the use of antibiotics, growth stimulants and hormones in this field of agriculture.

Analysts emphasize that the demand for specialists in this profession in Ukraine is higher than ever. The fact is that today the turnover of organic products worldwide exceeds more than $ 90 billion. The market involves about two million farms that have relied on environmental friendliness and organics. Ukraine is a strong player in the agricultural arena of the world. “The demand for specialists in this field is obvious,” the experts are convinced. - We need to actively engage in global trends, take part in conferences and be worthy partners in the global market. Modern farmers are not old people in the tractor, but highly educated, talented and interested in their work young professionals. They do not look through the fence what the neighbor is doing, but create a new farming culture. ”
