Based on the information shared by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan with a wide audience, the state stock of wheat is kept at a high level in the country's agricultural storage facilities.
According to the calculations of agricultural industry analysts, at present, the volume of wheat supplies is estimated at one million tons. And this suggests that Jordan's internal needs for this type of grain are provided in more than full volume for the next twelve months.
The Ministry of Industry of the country emphasizes that Jordan owes such impressive reserves to agricultural producers who used silage trenches for storing cereals in their daily practice.
It is known that such trenches have been used in agriculture in Jordan over the past ten years. This makes it possible to increase the volume of grain purchases in foreign markets.
It is noteworthy that silo trenches protect the grain from air access, moisture, and also from freezing.
It will not be superfluous to note that today lots and wheat from Ukraine and Romania come to Jordan in large volumes. Kazakhstan, the United States of America and the Russian Federation.
